The Royal Automobile Club of Pall Mall, London, has proudly promoted this
nostalgic annual event since 1930. The LBVCR is NOT a race but an endurance of
man and machine; it has a long established eligibility criteria that requires
the cars to be of four or three wheel design and certified that their build took
place prior to the 1 January 1905. The whole event is engulfed with atmosphere
and like so many British Historic Car events is dedicated to detail.
While the actual ‘run’ takes place on Sunday a whole 3-day week-end captures
this magnificent event. Along with the participants we enjoy private lunches,
cocktail parties and special viewing privileges to make this a very
unforgettable experience. We have also allowed for a ‘warm up’ days to the
event. Everyone has the opportunity to tour with us some of the major highlights
of the City and we have included visits to Churchill’s War Rooms and a ride out
to Hendon WWII aerodrome to visit the ‘Battle of Britain’ Museum. We have not
forgotten the ladies. All the events on Friday and Saturday are staged at both
Regent Street and New Bond Street, the two major ‘high end’ fashion streets of
London. No visit to London would be complete without an evening at the theatre
and you can choose any one of the top musicals in town with naturally the best
available seats.

will have arrived in time to enjoy afternoon tea while the organizers will be
busy checking on the slow arrivals. To claim their finishing trophy each car
must cross the line by 4:30pm and the atmosphere gets quite intense for those
last few. A late afternoon return to our London hotel for this evening’s
farewell dinner.
